After three matchdays the outright Bundesliga betting has reacted to Bayern Munich's worst start to the Bundesliga in 43 years. Having been available at 1.690* before week 1, the Bavarians - following two draws and a defeat - can now be backed at 2.500*. Some punters may see value in this price, but it could however just signal a changing of the guard in Germany football. Crisis at Bayern Munich
Louis Van Gaal is only three Bundesliga games into his tenure of the famous Bavarian club, but the knives are already being sharpened. Bayern Munich have taken two points from a possible nine, including defeat at nearly promoted Mainz last weekend. After the failure of Jurgen Klinsmann last season, the vastly superior experience of Louis Van Gaal was expected to work the oracle, with the added boost of fending off offers for Franck Ribery. The problem now is that the mercurial Frenchman, along with Luca Toni, may be tempted to jump ship before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
To add even greater significance to this weekend's game, it is the champions, Wolfsburg, who visit the Allianz Arena. The Wolves suffered a humiliating defeat of their last weekend losing 4-2 at home to Hamburg, ending an unbeaten run at the Volkswagen Arena stretching back two season. Felix Magath's side conceded twice within the first seven minutes of the game; that kind of sloppiness will be punished again at the Allianz Arena, despite the home side's poor form.
