The highlight of La Liga betting for matchday seven is the table top clash between leaders, Barcelona, and fifth placed Valencia. After Real Madrid lost their 100% record with defeat at Sevilla, Barca are out on their own with maximum points from their six fixtures to date. However, the Catalans will face a real test at the Mestalla on Saturday night, where Los Che are unbeaten so far this term. La Liga Betting – Barca Defending Only 100% Record
La Liga Champions, Barcelona, boast only 100% record in La Liga following Real Madrid's 2-1 defeat at Sevilla on matchday six. That result leaves Barca three points clear at the top of the Primera Division, but Valencia will be gunning to close that gap when the Catalans visit the Mestalla Stadium on Saturday night. Barcelona have won just one of the last four league visits, but at least won't be facing one of La Liga's joint top marksman, David Villa, who is sidelined with a thigh injury, along with winger Joaquin, who picked up a similar injury during Valencia's recent win over Racing Santander.
Both sides have large international contingents, including several South American players that could be drained after two fixtures and a long flight home. For that reason Lionel Messi maybe below par for the visitors, but the visitors start as favourites.
